Student of the Hexter
2014&2015
When I was in sixth and seventh grade, I was awarded The Student of the Hexter/Citizenship Award which was the highest award offered at my school. I received the award for my scholarship, leadership, embodiment of the IB Learner Profile Traits, and my involvement in school. This award was given to four students out of the two hundred fifty students in the grade.

Scripps Spelling Bee
2014&2015&2016
In sixth grade, I won the Millard District level of The Scripps Spelling Bee and progressed to The Midwest Spelling Bee where I finished in third place.

In seventh grade, I placed second at the Millard District level of The Scripps Spelling Bee.

In eighth grade, I placed third at the Millard District level of The Scripps Spelling Bee.

Asset Homeroom
2017
From the beginning of sixth grade until the end of eighth grade, I was placed into the Asset/Leadership Homeroom which focused on building the forty assets throughout our school as well as being leaders in our community. There were about six representatives per grade level. We had bonding retreats, we assisted fifth graders with the transition to middle school, and we helped in any ways necessary.

Math
2017
I was a member of our MathCounts team in my eighth grade year. Our team placed first at the local contest and third at the state contest. Individually, I placed eleventh at the local level.

At our district level math competition, my partner and I placed first in the partner competition and individually, I placed third.

Rotary Honor Roll
2017
During eighth grade, I received the Rotary Honor Roll Award given by Rotary International. Five percent of eighth graders in the Omaha area were given this award.

Outstanding Awards
2017
At the conclusion of my middle school years, I was honored with The Outstanding Orchestra Student Award and The Outstanding Math Student Award for doing well in both areas.
